Every claim on this page is one we hold ourselves to across the whole range. Where we are still working towards something, we say so rather than rounding it up.

Vegan and cruelty free

No Boteyy formula contains animal-derived ingredients, and none of them — or their ingredients — are tested on animals at any stage of development or manufacture.

Botanicals, sourced with care

Twenty-four botanicals run through the range, chosen for what they do in a formula rather than for how they read on a label. We work with suppliers who can tell us where a raw material came from.

Formulated to be tolerated

Our formulas are fragrance-free and dermatologist tested. A product that irritates gets abandoned, and an abandoned product is the least sustainable thing in any bathroom.

What we are still working on

Packaging, refills and shipping materials are the next areas we are addressing, and we would rather publish progress here as it happens than make a claim we cannot yet stand behind.
